Since the launch of ChatGPT, the world has been swept up in a frenzy of information about artificial intelligence (AI). I'll admit that at first I didn't pay much attention to the topic — I just found it convenient how AI helped me pick songs on Spotify, movies on Netflix, or products on Amazon. I never stopped to think it was also behind the GPS I used, my phone's voice assistant, Alexa, and my Google searches.
Well, a few months later, I started getting requests to write books about AI as part of my work as a ghostwriter. That's when I dove headfirst into this world — and I was fascinated. I began researching the ethical uses of AI, how companies are applying the technology, and how it can transform education. It really is remarkable.
So you might ask me: "But do you use AI to write?" Honestly, I don't — except for spell check (which is also AI) to proofread some texts. That doesn't mean, though, that I can't see the importance and relevance of what this tool can bring, and what can be created with it. So I decided to build a little "add-on" to my official author website to talk about the topic.
After all, I'm a technology enthusiast — which couldn't really be otherwise, given the husband and kids I have — but I believe it's essential to bring ethical discussions and practical applications of this tool to the table in our everyday lives. On my other site, Natal.IA (cute pun, right?), I dig into all of this and share uses and reflections that can help you navigate this technology that's here to stay.
